Sinopse do Episódio: As coisas estão ficando muito sérias em Heroes e esse episódio segue a mesma linha. Esse episódio, intitulado de “Dying of the Light”, nos leva para as entranhas da misteriosa Pineheart Industries, chefiado pelo igualmente misterioso Arthur Petrelli (Pai de Peter e Nathan), que por sinal esta muito vivo. Enquanto isso, Peter e Sylar tem um longo confronto. Nathan e Tracy procuram a ajuda de Mohinder Suresh, mas ao encontra-lo percebem que ele não será prestativo. Claire, Sandra, e Meredith enfrentam o demôniaco Doyle, que tem um poder que realmente asusta. Impressionado com a sua súbita crueldade, os vilões Knox e Daphne trazem Hiro - entre outros - para a Pinehearst fold, e lhe dão sua primeira missão.

Essa terceira temporada leva o seriado para um rumo completamente diferente das duas primeiras temporadas, essa temporada vai focar na fuga e na perseguição dos vilões que Noah Bennet (Pai da Claire) a serviço da companhia prendeu durante praticamente toda sua vida, por isso o nome dessa temporada ficou Heroes Villains.

Impressed by his sudden ruthlessness, Villains Knox (guest star Jamie Hector) and Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) bring Hiro (Masi Oka) — among others — into the Pinehearst fold, and give him an assignment. With Angela (Cristine Rose) and the Company paralyzed by recent events, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) goes directly to Pinehearst for answers, and irrevocably changed by the shocking meeting. Meanwhile, Claire (Hayden Panettiere) and her mother Sandra (Ashley Crow) attempt to free Meredith (Jessalyn Gilsig) from the thrall of escaped Villain Doyle (David H. Lawrence XVII), who has the ability to take mental and physical control of others. Later, Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) brings Tracy (Ali Larter) to Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy), hoping he can shed light on the surprising origin of their abilities.
